The festival is held as a celebration of youth singing-vocal creativity, as a creative meeting of leaders and specialists aimed at exchanging experiences, establishing business and creative contacts. nomination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"392\" data-end=\"538\">\n<p data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"538\">The duration of the competition piece must not exceed <strong data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"464\">3:00 minutes<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"468\" \/>If the time limit is exceeded, the song will be shortened (mixed).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Photo Requirements !<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the creation of festival materials (video introductions, diplomas, presentations, etc.), we use the photos that you upload in your application form.<\/p>\n<p>Please make sure to upload only high-quality <strong>photos<\/strong> that meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Original file, not previously sent through Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, or any other apps that reduce image quality.<\/li>\n<li>File size: from 1 to 5 MB (<strong>not smaller than 1 MB).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Horizontal photo (16:9 format).<\/li>\n<li>High-quality portrait, without a cropped head, heavy shadows, or filter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your photo will be displayed on a large screen and used in official festival materials \u2014 please upload original, high-quality images only.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"561\"><strong data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"559\">Phonogram rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"981\">\n<li data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"652\">\n<p data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"652\">A backup version of the phonogram in MP3 format must be provided on a flash drive.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"653\" data-end=\"806\">\n<p data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"806\">Soloists are allowed to use recorded back vocals in the phonogram, as well as the main voice in the choruses, but <strong data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"803\">only if the soloist improvises<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"981\">\n<p data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"981\">Phonograms containing the main vocal part in the verses are <strong data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"886\">not permitted<\/strong>. Such entries will be removed from the competition, and the contestant will be disqualified.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1094\"><strong data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"996\">Important<\/strong><br data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"999\" \/>Failure to comply with these requirements may lead to the participant\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1091\">disqualification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1099\" \/>\n<h4 data-start=\"1101\" data-end=\"1133\">Explanations by nomination<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1150\"><strong data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1148\">World Hit<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1313\">\n<li data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1313\">\n<p data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1313\">When performing popular works, contestants are encouraged to show their <strong data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1269\">own interpretation and creative approach<\/strong>, rather than simply copying the original.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1343\"><strong data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1341\">Author\u2019s Original Song<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1717\">\n<li data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1428\">\n<p data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1428\">This nomination highlights <strong data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1398\">new and unknown works<\/strong> for children and teenagers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1593\">\n<p data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1593\">Each composer may establish a <strong data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1478\">special prize<\/strong> for the best performance of their work.<br data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1521\" \/><em data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1591\">(The composer\u2019s application must be sent to the festival\u2019s email.)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1717\">\n<p data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1717\">Composer <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jelena <\/span>Lorena \u0160vilpe<\/strong> will additionally select <strong data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1676\">one best performer<\/strong> of works composed specifically by her.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1692\"><strong data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1690\">The Best of the Best \u2013 Diamond Voice of Riga Symphony<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1693\" data-end=\"2131\">\n<li data-start=\"1693\" data-end=\"1839\">\n<p data-start=\"1695\" data-end=\"1839\">This nomination is open <strong data-start=\"1719\" data-end=\"1738\">only to winners<\/strong> of previous Riga Symphony Festivals (Gold Symphony winners \u2013 first place, and Grand Prix holders).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1840\" data-end=\"1949\">\n<p data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1949\">Participants will compete in vocal artistry and fight for the title <strong data-start=\"1910\" data-end=\"1946\">\u201cDiamond Voice of Riga Symphony\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"2012\">\n<p data-start=\"1952\" data-end=\"2012\">This is the <strong data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"1986\">only special award<\/strong> of the entire Festival.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2013\" data-end=\"2131\">\n<p data-start=\"2015\" data-end=\"2131\">Contestants must prepare <strong data-start=\"2040\" data-end=\"2066\">one piece in any genre<\/strong>, where their vocal abilities are especially well demonstrated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"155\" data-end=\"177\">Competition Jury<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"179\" data-end=\"486\">The jury of the Riga Symphony Festival consists of <strong data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"279\">professional and highly qualified specialists<\/strong> in the field of children\u2019s and youth creativity from different countries \u2014 organizers and producers of international festivals and competitions, as well as leading hosts of music programs on TV and radio.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"522\"><strong data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"520\">Evaluation criteria include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"701\">\n<li data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"566\">\n<p data-start=\"525\" data-end=\"566\">purity of intonation and sound quality,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"567\" data-end=\"590\">\n<p data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"590\">performance skills,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"669\">\n<p data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"669\">compliance of the repertoire with the performer\u2019s abilities and age group,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"701\">\n<p data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"701\">stage culture and artistry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"884\">Each nomination is judged by a <strong data-start=\"734\" data-end=\"751\">separate jury<\/strong> corresponding to that nomination. Voting is conducted openly, and the competition is broadcast live online to audiences worldwide.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"886\" data-end=\"1235\">The <strong data-start=\"890\" data-end=\"918\">fight for the Grand Prix<\/strong> takes place during the Gala Concert. Contestants competing for the Grand Prix are evaluated by a <strong data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1055\">completely new and independent jury<\/strong> that has not previously seen the performances and is not familiar with the contestants. This jury determines both the winners in each nomination and the overall Festival Winner.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1426\">After their performance, participants receive a <strong data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1343\">unique opportunity to personally meet each jury member<\/strong>. of the entire Riga Symphony Festival<\/strong> (\u20ac 1,000) will be awarded to the most outstanding participant of the Festival, regardless of their nomination. <span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">The nominee for the Festival Grand Prix can be recommended by the jury only in one nomination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1179\"><strong data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1177\">Every participant receives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1378\">\n<li data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1245\">\n<p data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1245\">Festival data-end=\"474\">registration fee of \u20ac45<\/strong> must be paid together with the submission of the participation questionnaire.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"649\">\n<p data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"649\">Without this payment, the applicant will <strong data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"605\">not<\/strong> be entered into the competition database.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"650\" data-end=\"773\">\n<p data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"773\">If the participant withdraws from the competition for personal reasons, the \u20ac45 registration fee is <strong
