Evelin Mei 🇪🇪

Evelin Mei is a well-known conductor and professional musician in Estonia. She has been working with choirs, soloists and children more than 35 years. Her part of contributing to the development of Estonian music life has been huge – she has been participating in Estonian song celebration and given the best music education since the firstyear, she started working as a music teacher in different schools.

Evelin Mei has been conducting the Pärnu Mihkel Lüdig Male Choir since the beginning of 1993. She has been the head of education at Pärnu School of Arts more than 10 years and since 2021 has been the director of The international competition-festival KULDLEHEKE (Golden Leaf). Morethan 30 years she has been a chairman of the music subject association. She has been as a jury in many different International song competitions in Estonia and in Europe.

What makes her proud the most, is that she has been recognized in 2023 by being awarded the City of Pärnu Merit Award.
