Tanya Tocheva is a distinguished vocal teacher with over 35 years of experience.
She began her musical career at the age of 10, performing children’s roles at the Sofia National Opera, and graduated as an opera singer in 1984.

In 1990 she founded the “Sgushena Zvezdita” Vocal Studio in Petrich, Bulgaria, whose students have been successfully performing at international competitions in Bulgaria and abroad for more than three decades.

She is also the Director of the International Festival “Rising Stars”, held annually in Petrich for the past 24 years.
