Inga Bērziņa (Latvia) - Dec 5th 11:00. Professional jazz vocalist, and jazz educator in Jazeps Vitols Latvian Music Academy, Riga Dom Choir School, RTTEMA (Riga Teacher Training and Educational Management Academy). First music studies were a piano class, and later - choir conducting. In 1991, graduated from a class of pop and jazz in Gnesin Music Education Academy in Moscow. Later achieved a doctoral degree in music pedagogy (University of Latvia, Faculty of Education and Psychology). Besides performing, teaching in jazz department and jazz camps, has successfully toured Europe and the US. Tololupe Salako (Nigeria) - Dec 5th 10:00. “Come warmed up, prepared to have fun and be inspired to take your voice to the next level!” This interactive workshop will include learning to sing in a Nigerian language and will explore vocal arrangements in that particular style of music. 1.Introduction 2. Bio: Background, Experience as an artist, success 3.Vocal ensemble - Singing with Nigerian harmonies 4. Question & Answer session.

John Williamson (Great Britain) - Dec 5th 9:00. John Williamson (Glasgow, Scotland) is a researcher in music at University of Glasgow in Scotland. He has recently researched and written a history of the British Musicians’ Union (for publication in 2016) and teaches on courses in Popular Music theory, politics and history. He has presented some of this work at conferences in the UK, Brazil, Canada, France and Spain. Prior to joining the University in 2012, he worked in various sectors of the music industries as a band manager, journalist, concert promoter and venue manager. Among the acts he has managed are bis, a band from Glasgow who enjoyed chart success in Britain and Japan as well as touring extensively around the world during the late 1990s, and the internationally renowned Belle and Sebastian, with whom he worked between 2006 -12. During this period, he also worked on the feature film, God Help The Girl, written and directed by Stuart Murdoch of the band. As a journalist, he has worked for a number of national newspapers and reviewed and interviewed hundred of musicians in the process. He has also promoted a range of live music in Glasgow, organising shows at a range of venues.

Riga Symphony — заключительный концерт!

Мы рады пригласить всех на заключительное мероприятие самого крупного международного фестиваля в странах Балтии «Riga Symphony 2015» – благотворительный Gala концерт, который состоится 6 декабря в 17:00 в концертном зале Ziemeļblāzma. Победители в пяти номинациях будут сражаться за право стать обладателем главной награды фестиваля – Gran-Prix и денежного приза в 1000 EUR. За право попасть в финал будут бороться более 200 юных дарований из 35 стран мира.Рекламу мероприятия смотри здесь.

В праздничном концерте также примут участие популярные латвийские и зарубежные артисты: Илона Багеле, Роберто Мелони, Саманта Тина, Лиене Грейфане, Лана Франческа, Сабина Березина и многие другие.

Все средства, вырученные от продажи билетов, будут направлены на лечение воспитанников школы-интерната Piejūras.


Новости о нашей команде!

Мы имеем большую честь сообщить, что в этом году с его присутствием наш фестиваль украсить оперная певица Илона Багеле, которая вдохновит участников на большие достижения. Илона Багеле является солисткой Латвийской Национальной Оперы и Балета, доцентам Даугавпилского университета. Рига Симфония будет не первый фестиваль Илоны, потому что ранее она участвовала в качестве члена жюри в различных международных вокальных конкурсов. А также, Илона Багеле являетса шыроко известная исполнительница поп и джаз вокала.

RIGA SYMPHONY 2015 сезон открыт!

Мы рады сообщить, что новый RIGA SYMPHONY 2015 сезон открыт. Международный финал все ближе!

Подавай заявку и участвуй в семинарах и мастер-классах, которые проводят опытные вокалисты, композиторы, продюсеры и музыканты из Англии, Ирландии, США, Турции, Эстонии, Литвы, Германии, Испании, Польши, Франции, Бахрейна, Италии, России, Украины, Грузии, Армении , Азербайджан, Молдова, Казахстан и других стран; принимай участие в пресс-конференции и других культурных мероприятиях в рамках фестиваля (выставки, благотворительныe концерты, и т.д.); принимай вызов, чтобы проявить себя среди нескольких участников со всего мира и получить возможность выступить на официальном гала-концерте во Дворце культуры «Ziemeļblāzma», с участием лучших участников фестиваля и популярных латвийских и европейских исполнителей.  Самый сильный и лучший участник фестиваля получает Grand Prix фестиваля  — 1000 евро!
