“Songs of Angels” – Christmas Concert at St. Mary Magdalene Church
The traditional opening event of the Riga Symphony festival.
In the bright days of Advent, as Christmas draws near, the church fills with beautiful Christmas melodies performed by international participants of the festival.
The concert, as well as the entire festival, will be officially opened by Bishop of Riga Andris Kravalis, who, in his speech, will greet and bless the festival and its participants.
The event is held in the heart of Riga’s Old Town, in one of the city’s symbols and main attractions – the Church of St. Mary Magdalene.
The concert will be broadcast live on the church’s official website.
After the performance, all participants are invited to enjoy tea, sweets, and festive gifts in a warm Christmas atmosphere.

Concert “Christmas Vibes”
At the Lido Entertainment Center (Krasta 76) – a burst of joy, friendship, and positivity! This festive evening unites participants from many countries, celebrating cultural exchange, mutual inspiration, and the spirit of international friendship. After the concert, everyone will be treated to the traditional festive “Riga Symphony” cake
